The result of my surgery for Morton's neuroma ~ After the surgery~

I'm not really sure if my blog has any overseas reader. As this sometimes gets access from abroad, I guess there are some.

I'm writing this to tell you the result of my surgery for Morton's neuroma which I underwent last summer.

Now that 9 months has passed since the surgery and I’m getting better off, I think it is about time to report my postoperative recovery in English.

I'm willing to inform you that my surgery ended up in success! Positive! Plus!

Honestly speaking, I had had some nagging sensations in the first few months from the surgery, which were totally different from the ones in pre-operation.

It seemed to me something like a lump or a small ball existed in the tarsal of my foot.  It is very difficult to describe precisely the unusual sensations in my poor English, though.

But what matters is most of them gradually disappeared over time.  I'd like to stress this point.

Now everything is falling into places.

It doesn't mean my right toe has completely recovered or got back to its pristine condition, as I had the part of the nerve removed .

Even so, I'm very satisfied with the outcome.  I can walk long and even run, wear normal shoes!

Like you, I also had difficulties finding an experienced orthopedic and making the decision of getting excision as well for years.

I posted a detailed diary of the progress of my recovery in Japanese.
If you like and it is possible, have a quick read  by using "google translator "or something, even though there must be a lot of mistranslations with it.

Since I still have another different neuroma with my left toe, I might have to face the reality again sometime in the future.    It is a different problem here, though.

I believe my experience this time will help myself , if the time comes.

It would be very nice if my message could help and encourage you as well.
